Osheaga Announces 2016 Lineup Featuring Grimes, M83 And Kurt Vile

The indie music festival Osheaga announced a massive lineup that is leaving Montrealers ecstatic. The 2016 multi-day event features headliners Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Lana Del Rey in the top spots. According to Consequence of Sound, Bastille, M83, Haim, Passenger, Grimes, Beirut, Half Moon Run, Last Shadow Puppets, and Wolf Parade will also perform among more than fifty anticipated artists.

The exhilarating Canadian event features six stages, attracting 120,000 music lovers from North America and Europe in 2015. The Osheaga Music and Arts festival has expanded into the most important Canadian festival of its genre. As a massive celebration of musical and visual arts, it is dedicated not only to championing international artists, but celebrating local emerging talent.

Since its inception, the acclaimed festival unleashed over 600 concerts for over 400,000 audience members. Every year, Osheaga promises an unforgettable immersion into the most anticipated names of the indie scene.  The festival’s 2015 lineup was also stellar, featuring St. Vincent, Kendrick Lamar and Florence And The Machine.

The 2016 Montreal-based fest launches on July 29 at Parc Jean-Drapeau and closes three days later on July 31. Tickets are available on the official website.
