FKA twigs has just released their new single and music video Good To Love.
The song was originally aired live during FKA twigs’ Soundtrack 7 residency at theManchester International Festival and is produced by FKA twigs alongside Rick Nowels. Her self-directed video is now available across all digital platforms featuring cover photography by Alexandra Horgan. The video for Good To Love features a woman lying in bed mostly under the covers twisting and twirling in what seems to be a sort of horizontal, possibly agonized dance. You can decide for yourself what it all means here:
FKA twigs’ most recent albums include 2015’s M3LLI55X EP and her 2014 debut album, LP1, for which she recently won two awards at the 2016 Music Producers Guild Awards (for ‘UK Single of the Year’ and ‘UK Album of the Year’).
She plans to appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday, February 24th, returning to the show where she made her US television debut, and will also perform live next week in New York as part of the Tibet House Benefit Concert on February 22nd. Also playing that night are Philip Glass, Basia Bulat and Dechen Shak Dagsay.
