Holy Fuck has finally announced a release date of May 27 for their brand new album, Congrats.
It has finally come! After a long stint of teasing new music that lasted a few months, fans have finally gotten what they have been anticipating. The Canadian outfit Holy Fuck will be coming out with new album on May 27 titled Congrats. This will be the band’s first full release since their 2010’s Latin. As teaser and in celebration of their recent announcement, Holy Fuck has released the lead single off of the LP titled “Tom Tom.” The track can be streamed below.
The album took the group just over three full days in the studio, according to Consequence of Sound. This is a little different from their old Ontario barn that they have used in the past. The goup’s keyboardist, Brian Borcherdt, had this to say in a press release about the upcoming album. Album artwork can be found below.
“When you’re sitting still in a van and staring out the windows, you start to dream about all the other things you want to do. This album is exactly what we couldn’t do then.”
Holy Fuck is set to make some appearances at South By Southwest and Field Trip Festival in support of the new album. They will also show at LA’s Los Globos on February 25 at the Red Bull Sound Select show.
