Lovebox just released their lineup for the July 15-16 festival, featuring over 50 electronic artists that have hit the radios worldwide such as headliners Major Lazor, LCD Soundsystem, Run The Jewels and Jungle. Other artists include Chet Faker, Miike Snow, MØ, Odesza, Oh Wonder, Diplo, Luciano and Jack Garratt. The summer festival will take place in Victoria Park in London from Friday to Saturday.
Major Lazer, who was just announced in the Lollapalooza Berlin lineup for this September, is currently in India on tour to celebrate their album Peace is the Mission. LCD Soundsystem is also receiving some major validation this year as they just signed deal with Columbia Records on Monday, are headlining Coachella, and promise on their website, “2016 tour dates coming soon.”
Dispirited with the London music scene, Groove Armada started Lovebox back in 2002, though the event was held at various locations around London before sticking the landing at Victoria Park, where it has been held since 2005. Day tickets and weekend tickets are sold out, though VIP tickets are still available and on sale at Ticketmaster.com. More information can be found on the Lovebox website.
