DMX Revived By Police After Overdose

Earl Simmons, known as DMX, was found unconscious in a hotel parking lot due to an alleged overdose. According to Spin, police responded to a call of a man without a pulse and not breathing outside Ramada Inn in Yonkers, New York. The officers revived Simmons after administering CPR and Narcan, an antidote for opioid overdoses.

A witness informed the police that before falling unconscious, the 44-year-old rapper ingested a “powder”. Simmons, however, denies taking drugs and claims to have experienced breathlessness due to suffering from bronchitis. Additionally, a family member claims that Simmons asked for his inhaler before falling unconscious.

Simmons’ lawyer, Murray Richman, confirmed that the rapper was not breathing when the police discovered him. Officers conducted chest compressions and ambulance in the ambulance while accompanying Simmons to Saint Joseph’s Medical Center in Yonkers. The artist was released from the hospital and is recovering in a stable condition.
