Detroit-based Mo Pop festival has announced its 2016 lineup. According to the Mo Pop website, artists slated to perform include Father John Misty, M83, Mac DeMarco, Glass Animals, G-Eazy, and Haim, among many others. The event is scheduled to total over 10 hours of live music per day.

The festival is known for celebration of all things ingenuity – a theme within Detroit’s most prominent success narratives – through it’s indie acts and Mo Villages designed to provide exposure to local artists, entrepreneurs, and pioneers. Come for the music, stick around for the culture.

This commitment to the denizens of Motor City is not lip service. Mo Pop adds a unique twist to the traditional festival format by integrating local culture. Mo Villages engage festival-goers with local merchants, offering an array of products to fans that include food, drink and home made goods. The Food Truck Alley offers local award-winning foods and a Riverside Biergarten offers Michigan microbrews, craft beers, and specialty drinks. A Craft Bazaar will offer locally produced goods, some of which created on the spot. The Tech Tent, complete with a hacking space, engages fans with start-ups, inventors and Detroit business leaders.

Mo Pop Festival takes place July 23 & 24. Tickets are currently available for pre-sale. General admission totals at $109.50, but pre-sale buyers enjoy a $20 discount. Discounted 4-pack tickets are available for $299.
