Today, February 5, 2016 Moderat has released their newest single, “Reminder” in anticipation of their upcoming third album III.
Moderat is an electronic music group that originated in Berlin, Germany. The collaboration began between Sascha Ring, also known as Apparat, and Modeselektor members, Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary.
The band’s first release was an EP Auf Kosten der Gesundheit, in 2002. Their first album, Moderat, was released seven years later. Their second album, II, was released on August 2, 2013.
Sources say, Moderat will return with a new album on April 1, III.
The newest single “Reminder” will be released as a digital single on February 19, 2016. It will also be released on a 10″ with the b-side “Fondle” on February 26, 2016. A 12″ will be out on March 18 featuring remixes from special guests.
Moderat head out on tour in support of III in March.
