Formed back in 1980, British electronic band New Order has announced their tour dates for this spring. They will have many live events in the U.S. as well as a few performances in European festivals.

Last September, New Order released their tenth studio album Music Complete, their first album with their new label Mute Records. It was also the band’s first release in ten years. The band so far has released two singles off the album: “Restless” and “Tutti Frutti”, though they have recently announced their next single, “Singularity.” The video for “Tutti Frutti” was released week ago. Read more about it here.

Though the band is back and better than ever, it is not without some drama. Former bandmate Peter Hook announced last December that he is suing the band, believing he has lost millions of dollars because of them. Find the full story here.

Going along with their upcoming single “Singularity”, New Order announced that they would be having a competition on their website. Fans across the world are invited to create something (artwork, essays, covers of songs, etc) that shows how much the band has influenced their lives. The top 5 contributions will be featured on the SINGULARITY website permanently. If you’d like to contribute something to enter the competition, e-mail it to neworder@mute.com before March 11, 2016, the deadline for the competition.

Don’t miss out – tickets go on sale this Friday, February 5th!
