Gogol Bordello will continue their tour with extended tour dates for the sold out Gypsy Punks: Underdog World Strike Tour. The Gypsy Punks album. The band will be performing the full album each night on the given dates of the band’s Spring 2016 tour. The Gyps Punk tour marks the tenth anniversary of the band. Bordello’s extended tour dates include two nights in cities such as: Seattle, WA, Chicago, IL, Boston, MA, and Philadelphia, PA. The Gypsy Punks: Underworld Strike album tells a true story of an American immigrant, Eugene Hutz, whose vision turned the Gypsy Punks album, into a vibrant and exciting rock album that was translated in nearly every language spoken on the Earth.

Unfortunately, in an article from Edmonton Journal written last year, states that Eugene Hutz has been living in Brazil when the decision to make a ten anniversary tour of Gypsy Punk, which pushed them beyond cult status and into punk gigs, celebrity endorsements, and rosters of late night talk shows. In Eugene’s interview with Edmonton stated that many of the songs written for the band’s albums are based on the situational climate. The first time Eugene heard about the group’s impact in the punk scene was about a three hundred page thesis paper from a student at Oxford University, who wrote about the Gypsy Punk album as a form of multicultural communication.

For some of the extended tour dates fans can pre-order the tickets through a special pre-sale that starts Thursday January 28. Regular tickets will be on sale the following Friday January 29.
