Kanye West Announces Live Broadcast In Theaters Of Performance Debuting New Album Swish

Kanye West just announced that his new album Swish will debut at performance at Madison Square Garden in NYC on February 11th, the same day the album will drop. The album is speculated to feature Kylie Kardashian, Kanye’s sister-in-law. Kanye’s performance will also be screened in theaters as well, starting around 4pm EST. Tickets for the performance at Madison Square Garden will go on sale January 29th. Keep an eye on Kanye’s website for the latest updates.

The poster refers to the event as “Yeezy Season 3” due to Kanye’s past fashion lines, which were titled “Yeezy Season 1” and then “Yeezy Season 2.” At both of these events, Kanye performed new music – at the first one, he performed “Wolves” featuring Sia and Vic Mensa, then “Fade” with Ty Dolla $ign and Post Malone at the second one. He also streamed both of these events in theaters.

Just a few days ago, Kanye released the single “No More Parties in L.A.” featuring Kendrick Lamar, song off Kanye’s upcoming album. He preceded it with the song “Real Friends” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and the song “Facts”. The song was Kanye’s most mainstream release since the single “FourFiveSeconds”, a collaboration with Rihanna and Paul McCartney.

Kanye’s last album, Yeezus, was released in June of 2013 and was the artist’s sixth studio album. The album received high praise from critics, and Kanye then announced The Yeezus Tour, his first solo tour in five years. Kendrick Lamar, Pusha T, Travi$ Scott, and A Tribe Called Quest toured with Kanye as select opening acts. The Yeezus Tour had the second highest grossing leg of a tour during that year.
