Major Lazer has released a new video for their song, “Be Together,” from their 2015 album Peace Is The Mission. The video features psychedelic pop band Wild Belle, whose sophomore album is due this Spring.
“Be Together” depicts Diplo and Wild Belle’s Natalie Bergman on a romanticized motorcycle journey, but with a surprise twist. The track relies on Bergman’s smoky yet emphatic vocals and a relentless bassy, reggae-influenced dance rhythm. Major Lazer frequently collaborate with other musicians, and their work with Wild Belle reflects their ability to merge their sound with the offerings of other artists.
Major Lazer’s latest album was released on June 1 of 2015. The band has also released videos for the songs “Too Original,” and “Powerul,” from Peace Is The Mission.
As usual, the band has been busy performing shows and scheduling performances for the upcoming summer festival circuit. Rolling Stone reported that Major Lazer will be the first U.S. artist to play in Cuba since the U.S. restored diplomatic relations with the country.
