Kurt Vile has announced tour dates for this Spring. But the singer hasn’t been much into the music making this year, although he did something with Cyndi Lauper at the Beacon Theatre in New York. Kurt’s latest album, B’lieve I’m Going Down…, was released last year and it is one of the acclaimed albums of that year.
But now the artist is going into acting with the voicing of an animated squirrel in an HBO series, Animals. The HBO show is about anthropomorphic animals in New York City. The show will air February of this year and includes more than just Kurt Vile as one of the animated guests, A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg, Jessica Chastain, Nick Kroll, Adam Scott, Marc Maron, Rob Corddry, Eric Andre, Cobie Smulders, and Wanda Sykes. Wonder if Wanda Sykes is going to play another animated skunk besides Stella from Over The Hedge. Nevertheless, the show will have a host of animated animals such as rats, pigeons, bedbugs, cats, and dogs. Animals is written by Phil Matarese and Mike Luciano. The Shows executive producers are Mark and Jay Duplass.
