The group Bleached, fronted by some kick ass Los Angeles-based women, have just announced their latest album Welcome The Worms set for release in April.
The album, according to the press release, is going to show a bit of a more mature and in-depth look into the trio that represents their home base of Los Angeles so well. Lots of emotion regarding life and struggle are where much of the content for this album emerged from.
“I was a loose canon,” the commanding front woman says. “I was losing serious control of my personal and creative life. I was falling apart, trying to escape. I felt like Bleached was the only thing I actually cared about” said member, Jessie Calvin (via press release).
The latest single off the new album is a song called “Keep On Keepin’ On”, which seems very fitting in regards to the words spoken above by Calvin. It is pop-punk, and is the description of what an awesome girl group should be. Pure, honest, rockin’ and all their own.
Bleached will embark on a tour in supprt of Welcome The Worms. If you are a local Austinite, you can catch these ladies rock the house in during 2016’s SXSW festival. They are set to play Sidewinder on April 4th. Dont miss your chance to see some all-girl rock ‘n’ roll in its purest form. These ladies, two of whihc are sisters, know how to deal with life, love, and all the glory and ugly that comes along with their homebase of Los Angeles.
