Polish death/black-metaliers, Behemoth just revealed details behind their forthcoming tour through North America this Spring. Backed by the support of the one-woman black-metal concept-project, Myrkur, Behemoth seeks to scourge through their latest, The Satanist from pulmonary start-to-finish amidst a collaborative exhibition aptly titled: “The Congregation.”
Culling their beguiling persona for the masses, the demonic-thrash-trio effectively referred to as Behemoth have been scaling the likes of their particular brand of niche-music for over 25-years now. Celebrated for their pertinent role in the Polish extreme metal underground scene, the band will launch their latest trek through the U.S., with the addition of a couple keynote cities in Canada, starting April 21st at Philadelphia’s own: Theatre Of The Living Arts and make a jolting run-through before arriving at a lilting finish at The Observatory in Santa Ana, CA come May 7th.
Also along for the ride, Danish stalwart, Myrkur (also known as Amalie Bruun) will provide the tour with stellar opening-thrill still on the steam of last-years’ debut: M. In the antiquated spirit of art-cuma-expression, “The Congregation” will be held at every gig, coining a peripheral symbiosis of Behemoth and Toxic Vision. The exhibition will feature the artist behind Toxic Vision (Sharon Toxic) in rare form as she unveils her mastery of work done in the line of: stage/photo props, music videos, and stage outfits for Behemoth.
Sharon Toxic explains her collaborative spirit toward the band:
“It is a real honor to work alongside Behemoth and have this opportunity to bring a vision to life! We aim to dazzle and inspire, I am inviting everyone to step into the dark world of ‘The Congregation’ – an exclusive showcase of my work with Behemoth. Nothing like this has been done before, and of course, nothing is really as it seems with Toxic Vision. This is a culmination of craft and magic… once you step inside, you might never find your way out.”
