“Adore” is one of the singles on Savage’s new album, Adore Life. The album is available for purchase in January of this year. The song was inspired by the American poet Minnie Bruce Pratt. The video for “Adore” was directed by Anders Malmberg.

The music video for “Adore” mirrors music and people, the concept of following change, making simple decisions, and how good or bad someone could feel about it. In humans and mammals there is a flight or fight response, but since humans are more capable of rationality and reason, the phrase of trusting your gut is the primary focus in the music video and the song. The choice to go by instinct or by intuition is a hard choice to make. When humans make those decisions, often we reflect at what can be done better or what was the correct choice to make and often tend to believe that the first choice was the incorrect decision. Even though the majority of our decision making is often based on what is in front of us and not what we know about the object before us, these changes and adaptations we makes on a daily basis is all evolutionary, something the video expresses even when the theme is the choice to love someone.

Savages has announced their tour dates for this year starting January in London’s 100 Club and ending in April at Mexico City’s Vive Latino Festival. Tickets are on sale on the Savages’ website.
