The lineup for Coachella was just announced, and as usual will feature some heavy hitting artists spanning many genres of music. The festival, founded in 1999, will be held in Indio, CA on two weekends this spring: April 15-17 and April 22-24.
Two reunited groups, LCD Soundsystem and Guns N’ Roses, will serve as headliners on Friday and Saturday nights, respectively, while Scottish DJ Calvin Harris will hold down the Sunday night headlining slot. Bubbling rumors of a reunited classic lineup of Guns N’ Roses proved to be true when . Meanwhile, LCD Soundsystem just recently announced their own reunion as well as releasing a brand-new Christmas song in mid-December.
Other big names include M83 on the Fridays and Lush on Saturdays. M83 will be releasing the follow-up to their crossover breakthrough Midnight City in 2016 and Lush is another band making big reunion in 2016 with new EP.
Festival passes are slated to go on sale Jan. 11, at 11am PST.
