Lupe Fiasco is set to begin a stateside tour in January. The run will start on the West Coast, and include dates in the South, Northeast and Midwest.
A veteran on the current hip-hop scene, Fiasco is coming off of his fifth LP, Tetsuo & Youth, released in January. He has been praised for his ability to combine spirited instrumentals, with socially conscious lyrics.
Besides his work as a recording artist, he has dipped into the world of film, with the release of his basketball documentary Little Ballers, which came out last year.
The tour won’t be the only thing on Fiasco’s plate next year, as he is slated to release three new albums, titled Drogas, Skulls, and Roy respectively. Look for plenty of discussion to circulate in the world of hip-hop around this veteran talent.
