Adele Announces Summer And Fall 2016 Tour Dates

Adele has just announced her much anticipated North American Tour Dates for 2016.

It has been five years since North America has seen Adele and she is coming in at full force in support of her record breaking album, 25. This tour will follow the already sold out United Kingdom and European tour that has been announced. The North American tour will begin on July 5th in St. Paul, MN at the Xcel Energy Center and will wrap up on November 15th in Mexico City at Palacio de los Deportes. An astonishing six night stint is set to happen at the Staples Center in Los Angeles with another six nights to be held at Madison Square Garden in New York City. See a full list of tour dates along with all ticketing information below.

Adele has already made her first debut in New York at the Radio City Music Hall just the other night. The one night only show was recorded for a TV special titled, “Adele Live in New York City.” The special will run for an hour and include feature songs from throughout Adele’s catalog and behind the scenes footage of the evening, according to a press release.

Adele’s most recent release was just as ground breaking and huge as anyone could have predicted. Her third album was released on November 20th and immediately went to number 1 in over 100 different countries around the world. In the United States her title track, “Hello,” cannot be escaped no matter where you turn. She holds the record for having the only album to sell over 3 million copies in single week and the only album that has sold over a million albums for two separate weeks. Just when we needed her music most, she delivered and didn’t leave a dry eye anywhere.

UPDATE (7/25): Adele has announced two more dates in Los Angeles at Staples Center, on August 20 and 21.

Ryan Fricke: Music is my therapy, which I could not function without. I am currently finishing my senior year a Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida with a Journalism major and a Creative Writing Minor. I first realized I wanted to become a Music Journalist the minute I learned that I could get paid to do the two things I love most, writing and listening to music. I have yet to decide which I am more infatuated with but for the time being I will happily house them to their stalemate. My plans after graduation are unclear but I hope to further gain experience in this profession.
