Saul Williams Announces New Album MartyrLoserKing For January 2016 Release

Hip hop artist, Saul Williams, has announced the release date, January 29, 2016, and made the preorder available for his upcoming album MartyrLoserKing. The album will be released through the FADER label. The preorder comes with downloadable version of the third track, “The Noise Came From Here”. The two tracks previously released, “Burundi” and “Horn of The Clock-Bike” are also available with preorder.

Williams also unveiled the album cover art, a painting and collage created by artist, Anisia Uzeyman.

Saul Williams started his career as an open mic poet in 1995. Williams is best known for his blend of poetry and alternative hip hop. He starred in the feature film, Slam, a movie that followed Williams and his slam poetry team to the National Poetry Slam in Portland, Oregon. Williams was not only an actor but also a writer for the movie. Slam won the Sundance Festival Grand Jury Prize and The Cannes Camera D’Or Award.
