California-based indie-rockers, Best Coast and Waves just laid-plans to co-headline a tour during February and March of next year. Appropriately titled: “Summer Is Forever II,” the tour will serve as the long-awaited sequel to their highly-acclaimed “Summer Is Forever” tour in 2011.
Hitting such keynote venues across the country as: Austin’s Stubb’s Amphitheater, Los Angeles’ Fonda Theatre, and New York’s famed Terminal 5, the indie power-couple of Best Coast’s Bethany Cosentino and Wavves’ Nathan Williams will once again join forces in order to shop each of their bands’ latest efforts, Wavves’ V and Best Coast’s California Nights.
Calling for support from fellow Cali-rockers, Cherry Glazerr, the winter tour will fall in direct conjunction with the release of Wavves and Best Coast’s 7-inch split-single, due out in January under the launch of Wavves’ monthly Ghost Ramp Subscription.
