Today, Kid Cudi releases his fifth studio album, Speedin Bullet To Heaven, through Republic Records. The physical albums can be found in stores on December 18, 2015.
Kid Cudi has had another busy year. The singer, rapper, producer, actor, and director recently starred in the film James White as well as this summer’s Entourage. He also hosted Comedy Bang! Bang!. In addition, Cudi has canceled his upcoming winter tour, Especial.
Cudi posted to Twitter, “I got a lot I’m dealing with at this time in my personal life too and in order for the shows to be the best experience possible as well as keeping my sanity intact, I need to regroup.”
Sources say, the cancellation was necessary due to production issues and personal reasons. Before the album release, Cudi released the album’s title track. Listen to the single below.
Commenting on the album, Cudi states, “I have all the confidence in the world this album will change everything,” said Cudi. “After I accomplished my goal of making two back-to-back iconic classic alternative hip-hop albums, it was time to explore and try new things.”
