Heliotropes Announce Signing To The End Records

The band that formed from a 2009 Craigslist ad has officially signed with a hit record label and they are keeping it local. According to the Brooklyn Vegas, Brooklyn’s-own Heliotropes has signed with local record label The End Records. The label excitedly shared on the news of the signing as well as announcement of their second album set to be released Spring 2016.

The independent record label specializes in in rock, metal, indie and electronic music, and Heliotropes’ singer, Jessica Numsuwankijkul couldn’t be more excited to stick with their roots.

According to the Press release, Numsuwankijkul says, “I’m very excited to release our upcoming album. We’ve been working on it for a while now and we’re very pleased to work with The End, who are gracious enough to remind us to do normal stuff like make album artwork.”

The beloved local band’s first album was released in June 2013, and the unique grunge group’s following is excited for a new album. The group can’t be categorized in just one genre but they exude 90’s classic essence in their experimental and metal psychodelic sound.

The label has been around since the mid-to late 90’s and throughout the years they have helped groups bring their music to life. Well-known 90’s band, Everclear, also signed on in December 2014 to produce their ninth studio album, Black is the New Black.
