Veteran electronic group Underworld have announced a new album, set for a release in March of next year. A European tour is also set to begin in March to support the album.
The English trio released their first LP in 1988, but it’s been a while since their latest effort, Barking, came out six years ago. Given their extensive catalog, which also includes a pair of film scores, fans can expect a varied and quality comeback record.
There is not yet any indication that any U.S. tour dates will be announced, but one would expect them to make an appearance on several festival bills, given their popularity on the live music market in the summer months. Regardless, fans of electronic music can mark the new album down as one to watch out for early next year.
Barbara Barbara, we face a shining future will be released March 18, 2016 from Caroline International.
