Rapper Killer Mike introduced Sen. Bernie Sanders at a recent campaign rally in Atlanta.
Killer Mike is a member of the rap duo Run The Jewels. Bernie Sanders is currently the junior United States Senator.
Regarding Sanders, Killer Mike shared these heartfelt words:
In my heart of hearts, I truly believe that Senator Bernie Sanders is the right man to lead this country.
Pitchfork reported the rapper’s speech involved allusions to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Reagan presidency, and his own song “Untitled.” He also told the crowd to “stay confronting bullshit wherever you turn.”

The two friends were also found sharing a pre-rally meal at Atlanta’s Busy Bee, a southern comfort food restaurant.
