Voivod is currently performing in the Deathcrusher 2015 tour until the end of November. The band was recently in Paris, France playing the metal tour when Jeff Walker, the bassist and vocalist for Carcass, began to play alongside Voivod’s single “The Prow.” Fans who were able to catch the musicians playing caught all the information on camera and then uploaded it onto YouTube. The Deathcrusher 2015 tour includes Carcass, Obituary, Napalm Death and Herod, and includes Voivod.
The performance that was recorded Monday night at the Cigale in Paris was almost too much for some fans to bewilder. Jeff and Voivod were playing for a total of the four minutes recorded in the clip. Walker steps on stage and then mentions slightly with his hand at the performance done by Voivod and then mentions that both he and Voivod in the beginning part where the band prepares for the next song that he is singing alongside the band. Walker just grabs the mike and goes with it, he is back in the moment and acting just like one of the members of Voivod, playing and jamming and headbanging the entire time. The crowd was yelling in French, shouting for the song and the next piece and then they eagerly yelled and screamed in delight as the band performed the song. There are miniscule sounds of Walker and the crowd jeering and listening, screaming, and even having a good time.
