U2 Announce U2: iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Live in Paris Is Rescheduled For December 2015

U2 has rescheduled their previously canceled Paris shows to Dec. 6 and Dec. 7.

The 22-time-grammy-winning rock band, U2, has just recently announced rescheduling of their Paris shows. The shows were originally set to be on November 14 and November 15 and have been moved to December 6 and 7, after the events in Paris on the 13th. Bono had this to say about the horrible ISIS attacks that took over 120 lives and the city itself:

“So much that was taken from Paris on the tragic night of November 13th is irreplaceable,” Bono said to
Rollingstone. “For one night, the killers took lives, took music, took peace of mind – but they couldn’t steal the spirit of that city. It’s a spirit our band knows well and will try to serve when we return for the postponed shows.”

The band is excited to get the chance to reschedule the show and has promised fans to “put on (their) best” and has a consultation for anyone that is unable to make the new shows’ date. If a fan is unable to make the show then there will be a full refund for their tickets until November 30. All other tickets for the November shows are valid for their rescheduled dates.

The December 7 performance is going to be one that the band has filmed and it will air on HBO at 9 p.m. EST. The show, titled U2: Innocence + Experience Live In Paris, will be U2’s first HBO concert special ever.

Ryan Fricke: Music is my therapy, which I could not function without. I am currently finishing my senior year a Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida with a Journalism major and a Creative Writing Minor. I first realized I wanted to become a Music Journalist the minute I learned that I could get paid to do the two things I love most, writing and listening to music. I have yet to decide which I am more infatuated with but for the time being I will happily house them to their stalemate. My plans after graduation are unclear but I hope to further gain experience in this profession.
