Although Thrice has made a few festival appearances this year, including Taste of Chaos and Riot Fest, their hiatus left fans wondering if they would ever release new music. Since their formation in December 2014, the band is back.
According to Pure Volume, the bands social media page announced that a new album will be on the way in 2016. This album will be their first studio effort since 2011’s Major/Minor. There has not been further details provided but the fans should be excited with what’s to come.
While the album comes as a surprise, the band previously announced that they would be commemorating their 10th anniversary of the released of their acclaimed fourth album, Vheissu. Although I don’t think fans are too disappointed in the fact that they will be releasing new music instead.
