Fresh off the heels of last months first string of artists to grace the city of Austin, TX with their notice, the South by Southwest Music and Media Conference (SXSW) just unveiled its second wave of performers to flesh out a fully immersive experience for the masses.
Unmatched in size, scale, and stature, this coming March SXSW will celebrate 30-years in the realm of music and media education amongst seasoned-professionals and fledgling musicians on the brink of discovery. Playing the formidable host as the only one of its kind, the media-conference will feature such musical-acts: Bleached, The New Regime, and Brooklyn alt-rockers, TEEN among other top-notch players of the day.
South by Southwest has seen its fair-share of exponential growth since its inception in 1987. The music festival has expanded from a modest 700 registrants to a staggering 28,000 registrants, giving voice to over 2,000 live performances within its 6-day expression of the arts.
The music and arts festival is scheduled to ensue: March 15-20, 2016.
