Panic! At The Disco may be doing some burlesque strip teasing about their fifth album, Death of a Bachelor, bu that doesn’t mean that they cannot release the video clip for their single “Victorious.”
Somehow Panic! At The Disco keeps going backwards in time, using more burlesque dancing in their concert performances, and writing new material just for the fun of it. But ironically in this video, there is no backwards in time, but now forwards to the modern era. The lyrics are about the singer reflecting on his own flaws at being an athletic person and a musician and how competitive the music industry actually is. He mentions other famous musicians in the lines of his lyrics and also how the life of being a musician is more like the royal treatment, until the ending of fame and fortune, which becomes the killing slice from a guillotine. If you find a different way to comprehend the video and the song lyrics, then check out the clip below for yourself and see what it is that Panic! At the Disco is transcribing in this boxing music video.
Death of a Bachelor comes out in January of next year.
