Shannon and the Clams have gotten bit weird as of late. Their newest video “It’s Too Late” from their album, Gone By The Dawn, has a more fantasy approach.
Shannon and the Clams may be busy with kicking off tour dates or even letting their fans know where they will be, but in this weird infusion of cult-followings and even the simple matter of being plucked from where one person is, to being the result of a simple harvest the next. The drifter, played by band member Cody Blanchard, is just walking about the woods and enjoying the quiet surrealist interventions of nature, when Cody is grabbed by farmers and then taken to be apart of this strange and bizarre trip down fantasy land. Even though there is usually something mesmerizing about a certain place, this video hardly fits the part for being memorable about a journey through the forest or taking a journey into becoming part of a small cult that many of of the farmhands often pursue Cody throughout the video. If you are at all into the strange and unusual, then be my guests for this video is strange and unusual in its own right.
