Big Grams releases their new video for their single “Fell in the Sun” with the intent to recreate the power of Sun itself.
Warning! Viewers may experience temporary to severe blindness while looking straight into the video. Protective eye ware is greatly advised. At least this was the intended effects by Big Grams, according to SPIN, for their new video for “Fell in the Sun,” the lead single off of their new self-titled debut EP. The video can be seen below and don’t worry it is safe to look directly into.
Using visual techniques that are all meant to emulated the sun’s power, such as circular art work and bright lights, the video is very visually captivating. The group is seen in a very bright studio while there are random cuts to molten scenes of burning circles and lights. While the group does achieve the goal of actually creating a visually dangerous music video Phantogram and Big Boi have successfully released one powerfully beautiful piece of art work to accompany their already great track.
The self titled EP was set to release back on September 25th on Epic and included guests like Run the Jewels and Skrillex. The seven-track release is the first and hopefully not the last release by this powerful collaboration. The album has been released for over a month now and has seen a good deal of success, but with so many musical talents coming together on one project this is no surprise to anyone. The album also saw a video game release to accompany it where you can play as Big Boi or Sarah Barthel to conquer the landscape by using the seven deadly sins.
