Tink has kept things relatively quiet since her last release, Winter’s Dream 3, but now she’s dropped two new tracks with her go-to producer Timbaland: “Dinero” and “Trust No One.”
“Dinero” which means money in Spanish, is an honest track that is disguised as a sultry jam. Tink sings about “where have you been all my life, you put me straight on my grind” in regards to the money. The Timbaland touch distracts you from the lyrics for a second and focus on the heavy bass.
“Trust No One” is virtually an ode to Tupac. We hear his voice in the song twice reminding us of human relationships. Once again Timbaland’s heavy bass comes into play with Tink’s sultry voice and lyrics along with Tupac as the chorus making for a great song.
Tink is a Chicago native that has been revealing her R&B and rap influence over the course of four mixtape’s since 2012. She has already built a name for herself at her young age, collaborating with Missy Elliot and of course Timbaland. Her soft vocal style keeps her relevant and new anticipating the release of her new work.
