Dr. Know is longer in critical condition, according to the Bad Brains’ Facebook page. However, he “remains under the close care and watch of doctors at this time,” according to Consequence of Sound.

Dr. Know of Bad Brains has been hospitalized and is on life support.
Brooklyn Vegan reported the hardcore band’s guitarist, born Gary Miller, had been active with the band lately, playing various shows like Black N’ Blue Bowl, in the past months prior to the hospitalization.
Bad Brains has released a statement regarding their beloved Dr. Know:
The Bad Brains family ask that you please keep Gary (Dr. Know) Miller in your thoughts and prayers. The family respectfully ask that their privacy is honored during this time and very much appreciate the great energy that is being sent their way. Positive vibes and PMA!
