New Zealand will debut a new, one-day festival in March of next year, and Kendrick Lamar, Action Bronson and The National are already among artists on the lineup. Auckland City Limits Music Festival has released 16 of the reported 40 acts that will perform at the inaugural festival on Saturday, March 19, 2016.
The festival will take place at Western Springs stadium and park in the northwestern area of Auckland, New Zealand. Sturgill Simpson, Cold War Kids, Grace Potter, Lord Huron, Houndmouth and Shakey Graves are among additional American acts currently revealed to join the lineup; New Zealanders The Naked & Famous, Tami Neilson, The Phoenix Foundation, MAALA, Kinetic and Che Fu & The Kratez will also be a part of the festival.
The press release stated that Auckland City Limits Music Festival will announce more acts in December, “as well as details about Auckland Eats, local artworks, an artisanal market, Auckland Kiddie Limits and more.” A limited amount of Super Early Bird tickets will go on sale Wednesday, November 4th at 9am (New Zealand time) and can be registered for here. Other tickets and flight packages go on sale this Friday on Ticketmaster and Grabaseat.
