El-P and Killer Mike, more commonly known as Run The Jewels, have released a video commentary on their album, Meow The Jewels.

El-P and Killer Mike decided to have a bit of fun with online feline culture by offering to “re-record RTJ2 using nothing but cat sounds for music” for $40,000. Soon enough,  a Kickstarter, created by fans, raised $66,000 to get the idea off the ground. Meow The Jewels is 42 minutes of warped hisses, scratches, meows, and a lot of purring.

The album raised money for several organizations and families. The end of the video breaks down exactly where the funds were used or sent. Reports say, donations were sent to National Lawyer Guild’s Mass Defense Committee and the families of Michael Brown and Eric Garner.

Along with the album commentary video, new Meow The Jewels merchandise is available. Merchandise includes items such as hoodies, t-shirts, mousepads and even cat bowls.
