Grimes has just released a video for her “Flesh Without Blood/Linfe in the Vivid Dream” track.

Grimes has released the video for her “Flesh Without Blood” and for “ Life in the Vivid Dream” via Youtube. According to SPIN, this is the first release to her long awaited follow up to Visions, now titled Art Angels. To no one’s surprise the video is filled with costumes of all sorts and kinds that stay true to Grime’s auteurship. The costumes include a sort of cowboy angel, a renaissance era’d diva, a weird green hatted cowboy and a Jack Skelton looking outfit while she sits in a creep dungen playing vieo games. The fantasy world that she creates with these ridiculously enthralling outfits are what makes Grimes fans love her, aside from her musical talent. The very unique video is split into two separate acts with the first act being “Flesh Without Blood” and the second following the “Life in Vivid Dream” track. Like all artists the meaning and correlation of the entire video can only be left up to each individual viewer but one thing can be said, she had a lot of fun with this one. Whether she is playing sports like tennis or crawling around covered in blood, Grimes’ return to the music world is definitely one fans were expecting out of their pop star. The video can be viewed below.

Ryan Fricke: Music is my therapy, which I could not function without. I am currently finishing my senior year a Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida with a Journalism major and a Creative Writing Minor. I first realized I wanted to become a Music Journalist the minute I learned that I could get paid to do the two things I love most, writing and listening to music. I have yet to decide which I am more infatuated with but for the time being I will happily house them to their stalemate. My plans after graduation are unclear but I hope to further gain experience in this profession.
