Rock band U2 invited Noel Gallagher on stage during their show at London’s O2 Arena Monday night.
Gallagher, British pop star, is most famously known for once being a member of the band Oasis. Now, the singer makes music with a new group, the High Flying Birds, who recently released their second album, Chasing Yesterday.
Gallagher joined U2 on stage for a collaborative performance that began with “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For,” originally released on U2’s The Joshua Tree, and wrapped up with a cover of “All You Need Is Love” by The Beatles.
During the show, U2 singer Bono also took the time to honor Gallagher as, “one of [his] heroes … one of the band’s heroes,” according to Spin.
You can watch live footage of the performance below.
This show was one of many within U2’s Innocence + Experience Tour, which began back in May. Starting in the U.S., the band hit many major cities, like Los Angeles and New York City. Now, the band is playing all European dates, with which they will finish in November.
