LISTEN: Skindred Release New Song “Sound The Siren”

Skindred has released “Sound the Sirens,” another single off of their soon-to-be released album, Volume.

Skindred is set to release their newest album Volume via Napalm Records on October 30th of this year. The new release will be the band’s sixth studio album and their first release on Napalm Records. Volume was recorded at the Strongroom studio in East London and was produced by James “Lerock” Loughrey. Loughrey is a longtime collaborator of the band and has worked with acts such as White Zombie, Depeche Mode and Manic Street Preachers. The band just recently released their latest single off of the new album on Metal Sucks! The single can be listened to below.

The hard hitting single is easily the embodiment of the unique sound that Skindred has become famous for. Their head banging and seamless fuse of metal, punk rock and reggae explode off of “Sound the Sirens” and will guarantee an adrenaline pump to anyone listening to the track. Having to match the intensity of the other singles released from Volume’s vault this new track is right on par with the rest. Following the release of the videos for the title track and “Under Attack” this new is shaping up to be one that no metal fan should over look.

The album is available for pre-order via the Napalm Records Webstore.

Ryan Fricke: Music is my therapy, which I could not function without. I am currently finishing my senior year a Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida with a Journalism major and a Creative Writing Minor. I first realized I wanted to become a Music Journalist the minute I learned that I could get paid to do the two things I love most, writing and listening to music. I have yet to decide which I am more infatuated with but for the time being I will happily house them to their stalemate. My plans after graduation are unclear but I hope to further gain experience in this profession.
