American metal band Baroness have released their artwork for their upcoming album in a unique way.
The album, called Purple, will be the band’s fourth release, and is set to drop on Dec. 18 via Abraxan Hymns, according to Blabbermouth. Baroness released the first single off the album, “Chlorine & Wine,” back in August.
The artwork, created by band’s vocalist and guitarist John Baizley, was originally revealed on t-shirts that fans received as part of a deluxe Purple pre-order bundle.
Today, Baroness released a time-lapse video of fans piecing together the aforementioned shirts to form and reveal the cover art as a whole. You can watch below.
Baroness will embark on their 2015 fall tour in the end of November to promote the release of Purple. The tour will feature 18 stops throughout North America, all at intimate venues.
