Weezer have released a new lyric video for their latest single “Thank God For Girls” and it’s exactly what you expected.

It’s exactly what you expected from Weezer, that is. The video features a woman feeding a man cannoli’s throughout the entire video. The video doesn’t feature all the lyrics on the screen but here are the most important ones from the song. “She’s so big, She’s so strong, She’s so energetic in her sweaty overalls.” There’s other gems in the song but these really capture the essence of the song.
The single came as a surprise after Weezer’s last few singles that fell short in essence. If you were to read the title of the song you would probably be expecting a song that praises the female gender but that’s not what you get with Weezer. Instead we get the typically “adolescent mixed with wonder, confusion, anger and sheer nonsense.” The video is a must watch and makes you wonder how many cannoli’s were wasted to actually make the video.
