Coheed and Cambria has definitely been on a roll with their new material, including the release of their album on October 16th titled The Color Before the Sun. Off this album is the track “Island”, which the band has released a new video for.
Leading up to the album release, Coheed and Cambria gave us tons of new material to get us psyched for The Color Before The Sun, including “Eraser”, “Here to Mars”, and the video for “You Got Spirit, Kid”.
The New York band really took an urban feel for the track “Island”, featuring some really great shots of the band live in performance in tandem with some classic New York City scenes. The energy the band gives off is pretty infectious – just take a look at their faces! “Island” really kills it as a track and as a video gives off some great New York City rocker vibes.
The alternative/progressive rock group is known for those catchy lyrics and great guitar riffs. You’ll hear some classic rock and roll sounds in there, highlighted with some great new material and styles. Be sure to check it out and see what The Color Before the Sun is doing for Coheed and Cambria, as the album is described as their first non conceptual release. Something new is sure to be fun, especially since what we’ve heard so far is great.
