Neon Indian, aka Alan Palomo, has released a short film entitled “Slumlord Rising” following the release of his acclaimed new album Vegas INTL. Night School. The film features the various scenes of Los Angeles nightlife.
The film which was co-directed by Palomo and Tim Nackashi, is presented as part of a special collaboration with Yours Truly and Wetransfer. The video features two leads, the “Slumlord” which is seen throughout the video, and a woman that seems to be his sidekick. It takes place mostly in a nightclub that turns into a blood bath by the end of the video. The end will leave you at the edge of your seat waiting impatiently for the next video. The entire film is well directed and is something you should see for yourself.
The new video arrives alongside a relaunch of Neon Indian‘s hotline number, which was introduced in August before the release of the album to give fans a taste of what to expect. Fans who call +1-512-643-VEGA will hear a special greeting from Alan and be sent a preview gif of the video.
Vegas INTL. Night School has been out for only 4 days but has received rave reviews from various music sites. Palomo also gave an energetic performance of “Annie” on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last week.
