Adele has released less than twenty seconds of one of her new songs on U.K. Television during the X Factor.
During the U.K. X Factor, Adele released a teaser commercial to one of her new songs off of her greatly anticipated new album, according to SPIN. This little twenty-second commercial was simple black screen that flashed the lyrics, about three words at a time, of the untitled track while Adele’s signature emotionally-powerful voice sings with a subtle piano playing in the background. There is never any actual proof that it is in fact Adele singing but OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder’s tweet right after it aired is what gave it away.
Tedder worked with Adele on 21 and seems to be just as excited as we are for her return.
The commercial is a tasteful glimpse into what Adele has in store with her new album without giving away more than she wants. The album teaser commercial can be viewed below.
Adele initially announced her new album on twitter with her tweet that said “Bye bye 25…see you again later in the year.” The new album will break her four year hiatus from the spotlight. The title of the album will match the theme of her last grammy award winning album, 21, and be the titled after her current age. While there is still no definite release date for 25, this new teaser is a perfect spark to ignite the fire that will be her return.
