After an eventful year, on October 15, 2015, FFS, Franz Ferdinand + Sparks, released the “Call Girl” music video from their most recent album. Earlier in the year, the four members of Franz Ferdinand joined forces with Sparks to form a new supergroup called FFS. Their first album is self-titled album and was released on June 5, 2015.
The video was directed by Sasha Rainbow. “Call Girl” was recorded at London’s RAK Studios with Grammy-award winning producer John Congleton, who has worked with other well-known artists such as St Vincent, David Byrne, and Anna Calvi.
This past year has been more than successful for FFS. In the last few months the band performed at festivals and countless sold-out shows across Europe. Unforgettably, FFS headlined with a stunning performance at the John Peel stage at Glastonbury and two sold out London shows at The Troxy and The Forum. More recently, the band has also toured the states, not missing any major city from East to West. Now, FFS is currently finishing the US and Canada tour for the most recent album.
