The Besnard Lakes Announce New Album A Coliseum Complex And Release New Song “Golden Lion”

Besnard Lakes will release their new single “Golden Lion” later this November as part of their new album, A Coliseum Complex, which comes out in January of next year. The new single will be released as a limited edition twelve-inch with bonus tracks.

A Coliseum Complex will be offered in limited number of deluxe pre-orders of the album come with a metal sigil handcrafted by Goreas and inspired by her father. “I made 11 sigils after my dad passed away almost four years ago,” Goreas said in a press release. “Each sigil has a particular meaning and there are 11 of them because he died in November of 2011 and numerologically speaking, 11 represents a rebuilding of sorts. In a way, our last album was about endings and this album is about beginning again.”

The “Golden Lion” single is also on the upcoming EP Golden Lion. The EP will include the single “Golden Lion” and songs such as “The Motorway” and “In The Forest.” The band is currently working on tour dates following the release of the album and its EP.
