Day For Night 2015 has just announced their lineup for this winter, which includes acts like Kendrick Lamar.

Some big names are set to head Houston’s winter festival, Day For Night. These headliners include Kendrick Lamar, Dillon Francis and Flying Lotus. While these are not the only big musical acts there are also some big Digital artists, including Casey Reas, Zach Lieberman and Refik Anadol. While an exact schedule of who will be performing when has not been released, description of each can be found on the website, here.

Afra is the FPH publisher and a co-founder of Free Press Summer Fest and has more than a good time planned for the guests at Day for Night.

In a statement to HoustonPress he said, “What we aim for here is the wonder, the jaw-dropping allure, the accoutrements that make a festival fun: socially relevant risk-taking art, and the surprises that catch participants off guard to let the magic in.”

More on what to expect from the Day For Night. Taken from their press release according to HoustonPress:
“Immersive lighting, projection, and video art will be displayed in two controlled environments with stages serving as indoor performance halls featuring live musical performances. A third, outdoor stage will showcase continuous artistic content including music, original video installations, projections, and lighting. At DAY FOR NIGHT, artists will be encouraged to fulfill their complete headlining acts without the limitations of standard, stripped-down festival logistics.”

The two-day experimental art and music festival is set to start on December 19. Tickets are on sale for $185 for a general two-day pass, according to SPIN, and $750 for VIP packages. Day for Night will open its doors at 11 a.m. on both days and will be open to all ages. VIP packages include access to front-of-stage pit area with a private bar, complimentary food and drink, a commemorative lanyard and more good stuff. Ryan Fricke: Music is my therapy, which I could not function without. I am currently finishing my senior year a Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida with a Journalism major and a Creative Writing Minor. I first realized I wanted to become a Music Journalist the minute I learned that I could get paid to do the two things I love most, writing and listening to music. I have yet to decide which I am more infatuated with but for the time being I will happily house them to their stalemate. My plans after graduation are unclear but I hope to further gain experience in this profession.
