Following a five year gap since their last release, Los Angeles-based duo The Bird And The Bee recently released their fourth album Recreational Love. Today the band unveiled their music video for “Recreational Love.”
The video looks like a karaoke game you would play at a birthday party when you were in 8th grade. Needless to say it’s actually very cute. The video features a couple playing a game of cat and mouse, where the boy follows the girl no matter what she does. Truly bringing the song to life. It goes back and forth between the couple and The Bird And The Bee actually playing/singing the song. Fair camera time for both duos. The end of the video looks like it may be a lost scene from “The Ring”, you truly have to see it for yourself to understand it.
Recreational Love came to life in over a half decade of writing and recording. Vocalist Inara George says, “We didn’t mean to take so long but life ended up getting in the way, in a great way.” The band has announced live dates which include The Taste Of South Lake Festival in Pasadena, CA on October 10th.
