Brooklyn band They Might Be Giants have announced their newest album, Why?, is set to release Nov. 27.
The album will be released via Idlewild Recordings.
Why? will be the band’s second album of 2015, following up their previous releases Here Come the 123s and Here Comes Science. The previous albums were Grammy-winning and Grammy-nominated, respectively.
“And Mom And Kid,” previously released song which celebrates marriage equality, can be found on the upcoming album. The band also recently previewed the newest track off the album, “Definition of Good,” via their Dial-A-Song project.
The entirety of the album track list features They Might Be Giants’s typical pop-rock sound wrapped in an enchanting family-friendly package, with new songs like “Oh You Did,” “Elephants,” and “Then the Kids Took Over.”
TMBG fans can pre-order the album now and instantly receive four songs, t-shirt, and a yo-yo. They can also listen to the band’s weekly release of new songs via Dial-A-Song by calling 844-387-6962 or visiting the project’s website.
The band will also be touring until February.
