You’re not usually phased with the question, “do you know who you are?” but now you are, and it’s being yelled at you by the members of Atreyu. They released the powerful video for “Do You Know Who You Are?” today on Vevo.
The powerful video embodies the story of the song. It features various people holding up signs of what they represent. The song itself is just as strong as the message. The stomp-clap beat can easily be transported from home to stage. Along with the signs that everyone holds up in the video it’s clear that no two people have the same one. Encouraging others to go after what they believe in regardless of what others say. Various members of the band also hold up some signs ranging from being a father, veteran or simply someone that lives in the moment.
The members of Atreyu got to know each other much better when they went on a hiatus in 2011. While they spent time away, each band member got to experience their life through other projects or their home life. The band reunited in 2014 where they continued to make new music and played live shows. Their latest album, Long Live was released earlier this month and they will embark on a headline tour starting October 2.
