Stoner/doom metal supergroup Corrections House have released a new song called White Man’s Gonna Lose”. It is the third song released from their upcoming album, Know How To Carry A Whip which will released worldwide on October 23.
The supergroup is composed of Mike IX Williams of Eyehategod, Scott Kelly of Neurosis, Bruce Lamont of Yakuza, Sanford Parker of Minsk, and their minister of propaganda, Seward Fairbury. The new track is steeped deep in industrial rock sounds that is reminiscent of Nine Inch Nails and Numb. The mechanical rhythm is dark and hypnotizing as it swims beneath the wretched, sorrow-drenched vocals of Williams. You can already imagine the singer pleading his case on his hands and knees. Chords of doom fill your ears as the song pushes and pulsates and at the end looses it’s grip and leaves one wondering, “what the fuck just happened?” This is a song meant to be played very, very loud.
